Adoption Events, Fun Runs and More
We hold regular “Adopt a Running Buddy” events at races and places throughout Center City Philadelphia. We also organize group runs from shelters, join up with other area running clubs, host fundraising teams at local Marathons / Half Marathons (Team Miler), Happy Hours, and More…
Our events are open to the public and you do not have to go through formal volunteer training to come out to any event listed below. We're a welcoming bunch so come meet us (and some adoptable dogs!) We'll have voluneers at each event to let you know how you can get more involved should you wish. Our fun runs are all-paces friendly and generally are 2-3 miles in length.

Learn more about our award-winning annual race held each year in the Fall! We won "Best of Philly 2015" - Race for a Cause! (Philadelphia Magazine) It's Philly's ONLY race for dog rescue and we'll have adoptable dogs meeting and greeting runners, volunteers and spectators on race day. Join the fun!
